ULURU, Natural Wonder in Australia


Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock is a large sand stone formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory, central Australia. Uluru is located at 335 km or 208 miles from the south west of the nearest large town. Approximately 500 million years ago it was part of the ocean floor at the center of Australia. It is 318 m (986 ft) high and 8 km (5 miles) around. Uluru is considered one of the great wonders of the world. Ayers Rock features waterholes, springs, and rock caves. Uluru has historical significance because of ancient paintings found within the caves. Large sandstone rock that appears in random flat lands and it changes colors as the light strikes it throughout the day.



























“A-Rose-Red-City” Petra, Jordan

Petra means "rock" in Greek. It is located about three hours south of Amman, the capital of Jordan, and was founded by a nomadic Arab tribe known as the “Nabataeans” several centuries before Christ's birth. The country of Jordan is located in the Middle East, northwest of Saudi Arabia and south of Syria. Petra is an ancient city built on a mountain slope and become one of the wonders of the world. It is now said to be one of the seventh wonder of the world and it belongs to the UNESCO world heritage site. Petra represents the ancient world’s heritage culture. It is a beauty hidden behind layers of mountain. The city was founded by digging and carving rocks as high as 40 meters. The entire red rose city of Petra has such a charismatic appeal that it attracts anyone & everyone who enters the city, taking them to a different world of divine beauty and mystery. This place has attracted millions of tourists every year. The one who visited it say that it is a site that can never be forgotten.
